What we collect
For each patient record staff create: name, phone number, date of birth, contact preference (SMS, WhatsApp, email or phone call), optional email address and home city, appointment details, and the patient's messaging consent status. Care coordinators may add limited clinical context used for scheduling. Most records in the system are fictional demonstration data.
How we use it
- To schedule appointments and send appointment reminders and confirmations.
- To estimate the chance an appointment is missed, so staff can follow up.
- To offer an earlier slot to patients on a waitlist.
Text messages and phone numbers
- No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
- Text-messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
- Phone numbers are used only to send the appointment messages described in the SMS terms.
Service providers
Messages are delivered through Twilio (SMS, WhatsApp, voice) and SendGrid (email). Data is stored on Amazon Web Services in the United States. These providers process data only to deliver the service.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Access is limited by staff role and protected by sign-in with automatic sign-out. Credentials are kept in AWS Secrets Manager.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text to stop messages; reply START to resume.
- To see, correct or delete your information, email support@sais.live.
Retention
Test data is kept only for the duration of the capstone project and deleted when it ends.
