Program
SAIS Care appointment reminders. Transactional messages about a patient's own appointments: reminders, requests to confirm, and offers of an earlier slot. No marketing or promotional messages are sent.
How patients opt in
When a patient is registered at the clinic front desk, staff ask how the patient wants to be contacted (SMS, WhatsApp, email or phone call) and record the mobile number the patient gives for appointment messages. Messages are sent only to patients who agreed to receive them. During this capstone, the only real recipients are test participants who gave their own number and agreed to receive test messages.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies: usually 1 to 3 messages per appointment.
Costs
